The Export Credit Guarantee Co. of Egypt is honoured to have attended the Berne Union Annual General Meeting 2022 held in Kigali, Rwanda hosted by the African Trade Insurance (ATI).
A sizable delegation from the global export credit and investment insurance industry gathered with partners and international stakeholders to discuss trade and investment in Sub-Saharan Africa.
EGE had the pleasure of partaking in several fruitful sessions and contributing to the PCC meetings with other export credit agencies, industry leaders, and experts to discuss business and industry trends.
On behalf of the Export Credit Guarantee Co. of Egypt, Mr. Hussein Khalil, Head of FI took part in the engaging and thought proving panel discussion during the PCC focusing on the spotlight on mining, energy commodities and renewables in Africa.
We had the fantastic opportunity to hold a number of productive meetings with delegates from The Export-Import Bank of the United States (US EXIM), African Trade Insurance (ATI), Atradius, and The Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC) to further enhance our partnerships and cooperation to our mutual benefit.
