On March 14th, 2023, EGE attended the Export Smart Exhibition & Conference at the Kempinski Hotel New Cairo.
EGE is proud to be a bronze sponsor of this year’s Export Smart Exhibition & Conference 2nd Edition, titled The Exporters Journey to Africa. The conference was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of International Cooperation, to connect SME exporters and exporters-to-be to export service providers, government institutions, and Export Councils under one roof.
The exhibition was attended by more than 1000 visitors from various sectors, in addition to 45 exhibitors of services and all government agencies providing services to exporters.
Chief Commercial Officer Mrs. Rabab was a panellist at this year’s conference, discussing access trade finance and management in Africa panel explaining the importance of credit guarantee and how it can be used to secure export proceeds from both political and commercial risks.
The event was attended by Eng. Essam El Naggar, Chairman of the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC), who inaugurated the exhibition & conference on behalf of H.E. Eng. Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry.
